Academia . edu

I now have a profile on Academia.edu where scholars and authors and teachers post their research, their papers, and their publications. I put up three of my papers. I will put up more, but I am too busy working on a new one right now.

New paper: "Masculinity in Contemporary Paganism"

Inspiring Youth

While I did not meet the 50K goal this year for NaNoWriMo, I did accomplish starting a brand new session for Young Writers.

The Young Writers Club with Stepping Up 2.0 is a great opportunity for students to improve all aspects of their English: reading comprehension, spelling & vocabulary, and writing conventions (grammar). They will also learn how to write a story and how to publish and market it in an anthology. All the stories, as well as some of the essays and writing prompts will get published sometime Spring 2016.

I absolutely LOVE inspiring youth to be literate and to add to youth literature!

NaNoWriMo 2015

It has BEGUN!!!

I am working on 2 fanfictions for this year. Well, I intended to work on the Trust & Guardianship series, but got stuck. So I popped over to my Harry Potter: Sorted Too Young story and cranked out a TON of writing! Now I am back at the Trust & Guardianship series feeling more capable and motivated.

This year I am an unofficial ML (Municipal Liaison). I am helping maintain the Montreal Nano calendar, keeping on top of the Nano-Mlt Facebook page and hosting a Wednesday Write-in at Concordia's Webster Library.

This year, Montrealers voted that the symbol for write-ins match this year's NaNoWriMo theme is the book and Quill. FEATHERS! I have acquired feathers for this theme.

NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo is upon us! I do this every year. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. Every November, thousands of people strive to write 50 000  words in 30 days. This year, I am an unofficial ML  (municipal liaison). Maybe next year it will be official. I will have to see how it goes.

I hope to complete the second novel in my Trust & Guardianship trilogy. The hard part yo this year is that i must also write a 10k word research paper for school at the same time. EEP!

I also hope to start a Young Writers Program again this year and publish another anthology of the children's stories.

Good luck and happy writing to everyone participating!
